The 60th Spiritual Enrichment Conference was held Friday, September 30 – Sunday, October 2, 2016 at The DoubleTree by Hilton Williams Hotel and Conference Center, 50 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia.
A formal Black Tie Affair was held on Saturday evening in celebration of our Diamond Anniversary. The evening was a lovely time of food, fun, and fellowship as we reflected on 60 years of Spiritual Enrichment Conferences. In addition, representatives of each diocese gave presentations entitled “Who Are We?” that highlighted the key features of each diocese. A jazz trio provided dance music.
Our Keynote Speaker, Dss. Teresa Johnson, addressed the conference theme “Consolation and Good Hope Through Grace” referencing 2 Thessalonians 2:15-17.
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.”

The conference ended on Sunday with a service of Morning Prayer and a sermon by The Most Rev. Royal U. Grote.
