The Committee on Women’s Work is in charge of five projects annually:
The Women’s Day Project Luncheon, is traditionally held the first Friday in May. Women’s Day is a program of spiritual and inspirational blessing including a banquet and the acceptance of monetary gifts from women’s groups toward a specific need within the denomination. A list of denominational needs is presented to the Committee on Women’s Ministry by the bishops of the church. The project for the following year is selected from the list and presented to the Women of the Church at Women’s Day.
Our 2017 Women’s Day was held on May 5, 2017.
The Spiritual Enrichment Conference is designed to provide spiritual fellowship, instruction, and opportunity for women to participate and to grow in the knowledge of Christ and be strengthened as members of His Body. The 2017 Conference is planned for October 13-October 15 in Williamsburg, VA.
Annual Publication of Devotional Booklets written by Reformed Episcopal Women, for use in the Women of the Church groups. Each booklet is a ten-month devotional study guide, beginning in September or October through June or July.
“Dates to Remember” is a list of important dates from each diocese making the local church aware of denominational functions so as to avoid scheduling conflicts.
